Cash Award Available
The Chamber of Commerce provides cash awards of $50 to $200 to classroom teachers at member schools through its Teacher Enhancement Award Program (TEAP). The program is intended to help teachers with the cost of additional education through classes, workshops, seminars and conferences. Treasure Trove for Teachers
The Ocean Bank Center for Educational Materials is a distribution center that accepts donations
of excessive inventory, remnants, and surplus supplies from companies, which it then makes available free of
charge to M-DCPS teachers for their classrooms. DCS Teachers are eligible to take advantage of this program.
The warehouse is operating in a new location at 6890 NW 76th St., Miami.
