Students

Students are the S in PTSA
DCS has a PTSA rather than a PTA. The S is for Students. Why is that? At DCS, we want to encourage student involvement in the school, so we became a Parent-Teacher-Student Association. As a student member of the PTSA, you are empowered to attend meetings, help set policy, plan events, determine how funds should be earned and spent, and VOTE on important issues. You can be a leader, and earn community service hours. Are you a member? Join now!
New Graphing Calculator?
Many of you will be using a graphing calculator in your Math class this year. If you are deciding which calculator to purchase, there is a good comparison chart here.  When you do purchase, be sure to save the Proof of Purchase which comes with your calculator. Give that Proof of Purchase to your Math teacher, and your teacher will be able to order free equipment and materials for your class from Texas Instruments.  Be sure to visit the Texas Instruments Student Lounge for games, downloads, freebies, accessories, and tutorials.
