Doctors Charter School PTSA
Tickets are on sale now for the Third Annual "Evening in the Courtyard," an event you don't want to miss. An intimate evening of wine, gourmet hours d'oeuvres, and live music. The North Dade Medical Foundation will be honored at this event. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased by calling 305-762-5175. (This is an adult only event.)
The second annual "Family Yard Sale" will take place Saturday, December 6 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.!. Click on the link above to download the reservation coupon. Reserve your spot for only $25. Vendors welcome!
It's never too late to join the DCS PTSA. Just download a PTSA Membership Form here and drop it off at school with your membership fee. Our PTSA is dedicated to helping YOUR child and our school. Parent involvement leads to the success of our students and our school so get involved! Sign up today.
The next DCS PTSA General Meeting will be Tuesday, November 18, at 7:00 p.m. in the Cafetorium. Parents may sign up for membership at this meeting. Students are encouraged to attend and to join their school's PTSA! The next PTSA Board meeting is on Friday, November 7 at 8:00 a.m. at the school.

PTA is a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that prides itself on being a powerful voice for children, a relevant resource for parents, and a strong advocate for public education.
Membership in PTA is open to anyone who is concerned with the education, health, and welfare of children and youth.

The PTSA had a record number of
members last year and all worked hard to support any requests for help that came
our way from staff, students and administration. We would like to be able
to do that again this year. We welcome anyone who would like to attend a meeting, provide
a food dish, head up a
committee, chaperone a field trip, donate a prize, or just contribute their initial
membership dues to help sustain our association.

Make your Volunteer Hours Count!
In order to keep track of your volunteer hours we are asking each person to complete a volunteer form. The forms can be found in the volunteer binder in the Main Office. When you come to the school to volunteer you must go to the Main Office to sign in and get a badge. At this time you should complete a volunteer form. Place the form in the binder under the divider with the letter of your last name. This form will remain in the binder where you may continue to add your volunteer hours each time you come to school. Please adhere to this procedure as it is the only tracking method in place. We would like to thank Irene Gaston from the Main Office for creating the binder for us and for all the work she does for the PTSA!
DCS PE Uniforms are on sale throughout the year from the PTSA. Download a PE uniform order form or pick up a form in the school office. Orders are filled twice a week, and may be picked up by your student in the office.
